Women's Division 3 Soccer League

A new women’s league is starting at the All Star Sports Arena for women who would like to try soccer or who are very new to the sport, Women’s division 3 (Women’s DIII).

     We currently host Women’s DI (Competitive) and Women’s DII.

In Women’s DII you may play with 3 “experienced players” which is mostly DI players and in some cases women are put in this category by their skill and experience alone, depending on the circumstance. We are forming this league much like how Nancy O’Brien formed DII in the interest of getting new players involved. We evolved as a league in DII and have become more competitive and skilled. So DIII will serve, as a playing field for anyone who is not ready for that pace or just wants to see what the kids/husbands/friends all love about the sport!

     We will conform to the rules set forth for DII with the exception of you may have 3 DII players on your team and NO players that have played in any DI games or competitive co ed. Scores will not be recorded and no playoffs will be held. Every game will have a referee present to enforce rules and safety. These games will be played with the intention of fun, exercise, and learning the game of soccer. League fees are $425 per team, which will include 9 games and one group league training session with Coach Kendall Spencer before the season kicks off. The games are 6 V 6 indoors and we suggest a team of 10-12. Those numbers are good for sub breaks and makes allowances for absences also making dividing the league fee more affordable for all. Games will be played Saturday evenings.

     Ladies please consider if this league would be of interest to you or any one you know. Nancy started DII with soccer moms from the Comets, teachers, friends, wives of players, and many others who wanted a new and fun way to exercise, and in that same spirit I hope DIII will do the same.
